Join us for a midweek check in to fuel your body, mind and soul.
RISE will provide the meal and a topic for conversation. All you have to do it show up!

Upcoming Service and Giving Opportunities
Fall Workday at Camp Overlook
Saturday, November 8, 9 am - 3 pm
Join for a day of work (and fun) at camp. There will be various things to be done, inside and outside. Projects include: cutting trees, raking leaves, cleaning gutters, washing windows, deep cleaning Agape Hill buildings, painting interior walls in the Swank Retreat, and more.
Alexis will be coordinating the group from RISE, so please let her know if you plan to attend and/or if you have any questions!
GIVING Opportunity with
the JMU Holiday HELPERS
We are excited to be partnering with JMU Holiday Helpers club this year to give some love to our community and neighbors this holiday season!
There are several ways that you can support this endeavor:
Make a special financial gift to support the overall effort. Just use the “Give Now” button below and mark it for “Holiday Helpers.” Or you can send a designated gift via snail mail. All donations so designated will be used to support the Holiday Helpers.
“Adopt” one of the five children RISE has agreed to supply with gifts. (We have specific lists of needs for each child). Contact Alexis (riseharrisonburg@gmail.com) if you are interested in doing this.
