There's more than one way to stop hunger.

On Saturday October 25, we're gleaning apples at Showalter's Orchard. Gleaning is an ancient biblical practice in which the leftovers following the harvest are collected and distributed to those in need. It's a great way to be a part of ending hunger in our community.

If you're interested, meet at the RISE Mission House at 8:30 am on October 25 to carpool. You can expect to be back by 12:45 pm or so. For more information, email Megan Marker (markermr@gmail.com).
