How do you feel about raisins?

You can never have enough raisins.

What song is in your head right now?

"I Just Can't Wait to Be King" ... you know the one.

What's your passion?

Health - Not that I am just a granola-crunchin' yogi, by any means. I decided a long time ago that health is best defined as energy; energy that is derived from life-giving activities. Yes, sometimes that means diet and exercise, but I think it also means reading good books, taking lazy-day naps, hanging out with friends Downtown, calling home, hiking, or spending the afternoon making some homemade granola. So yes, I am definitely passionate about health!

What's something about yourself I couldn't find on your Facebook page?

(hangs head in shame) I have never won a game of Solitaire against the computer... Chess? - Yes! Backgammon? - Of course! Free Cell? Minesweeper? Hearts? yes! yes! yes!  But good ole Solitaire?  Not even once!

What are your hopes and dreams for RISE?

As soon as you stop dreaming, you stop believing in the possibilities. RISE is alive;  it is continually morphing with the ebb and flow of life in Harrisonburg. As it breathes in the needs of this community, it breathes out hope-filled action! This action has prompted RISE to develop, to experience growing pains, hiccups, cooties and everything in-between. Transformation is emerging! It's symbiotic - as our community is transformed by RISE, RISE is transformed by our community.  My prayer is that RISE never stops dreaming, never stops challenging the limits, and never brings its head out of the clouds. In the same way, I hope our community never stops dreaming of the day when Christ's pain is acknowledged and our salvation is recognized as an embrace in God's love.
